Having No Fear – August 8th
Wow! A lot to think about, don’t you think?
Lots of things get us thinking, and have the potential to get us all worried and fearful.
We hear these words today of ‘fear not.’ God has given us the kingdom.
So what are you thoughts, feelings, concerns…and where is the kingdom in your life being felt or made?

Pastor,
Perfect timing for me. Lots going on in my life to make me fearful. Our culture has made so much of the physical world; possessions, status, money, earning potential, etc. We often forget that when we hear these words we are to put things back into perspective, all of our physical possessions will not matter in the end. Our belief in the risen God who forgives all of our sins is all that matters. However, it is easy to write these words and much more difficult to live them. I find myself in the daily struggle of trying to prove my worth in this world instead of honoring the one who made it all possible.
Praise him when we win, Praise him when we lose…
