So what is holding you? What has you tied down? How is Jesus ‘loosing’ you? How is Jesus setting you free like spirited labadors, licking, joyful, and excited?

Wow! A lot to think about, don’t you think?
Lots of things get us thinking, and have the potential to get us all worried and fearful.
We hear these words today of ‘fear not.’ God has given us the kingdom.
So what are you thoughts, feelings, concerns…and where is the kingdom in your life being felt or made?
I’m not sure if I made sense today or not. I wanted to talk about resting places, but not so sure that came across as I ended up talking about stuff…
But then again, what do we put our trust in…stuff that’s stored up, or stuff that is being used…
All of us have stuff…good stuff, bad stuff, and stuff that is just there.
So where are you in this ‘stuff’ conversation?
So its when you pray. Not if. Prayer is something that goes up and down for me in my personal life, but something I hold important and vital to nurturing my faith as I am called to nurture others.
How about you? Thoughts, comments, questions, answers?
Leave them here.
So prayer. Lots of things to think about and ponder. Where’s your prayer life? How is your prayer life? What contirbutes to your prayer life or what prevents you and prayer from happening? Leave your thoughts here…
So a different take on the Good Samaritan. Did it work? I’m not sure. We’ll have to see. Needless to say, I enjoyed working the text from this point of view.
Well, its been a while since I’ve been here…not so good, esepcially when I see how many people have been approaching my blog. Ouch! Perhaps I should do a better job at it.
So we’ll give it a whirl and see what happens…but is anyone out there?
Today’s worship, with preaching and teaching by Dr. David Anderson was incredible.
As I sit here this afternoon pondering thoughts before I get on an airplane, I once again realized that not only am I a sheep…I am called to be a shepherd…its not good enough to have sheep in a pen or (God-box) every Sunday…shepherds are with sheep out in the world, in their daily lives, in their homes, around their dinner tables, in their cars.
I am enlivened, envirgorated, and to be honest a bit scared of the task we have ahead of Renewing Hope, and renewing lives at home…but as the psalmist writes today, I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.’
Futhermore, I’m gonna explore this ‘fourth expression’ of the church…the home. Churchwide, Synod, Congregation, and home. Wow!
Things to think about. Blessings.
Alleluia! Christ is Risen!
